And so it begins

It has been a long time coming ... and so we begin. I do admit that I am at best a weak blogger and that is saying more than you know. After 30 years and more behind the classroom desk and thus chasing students around trying to convince them they are gifted beyond belief I have at last broken out through forced retirement into the realm of producing artist. I completely feel I am a "RECOVERING" artist one who has lived along the edges doing a little here and a little there and an occasional "AHA." So here I go up the path of personal creativity once again with all the hopes and dreams of any first timer and all the realities of one who has done something before now. I welcome your constructive criticism and your praise. Either way I'm looking forward to glorious ride and adventure along the way. Come along and join me on the rivers edge then [ did I mention my studio is 20 feet off the Chattahoochee. It is.] we shall see what comes to life on canvas. Onward!

My studio window looks out between these two trees and is an asolute great place to watch the river flow and nature go. I am a photographere and painter who dabbles between water colors and oils absolutely in love with textures and the tastes of colors on the mind.

8 Miles north of my studio the beautiful Blue Ridge.
